Reflection
We got a lot of feedback from the judges at the competition. Our game has a lot of potential but needs some serious work. We need to focus less on the aesthetics and more on the mechanics and game play. They told us to implement responses such as enemy knock back and rag doll physics to make the game more entertaining and comedic, because comedy keeps people interested and entertained. They also told us to make the game easier because very few people were able to actually beat it. For example, rather than having the enemy swarm the player, have them start slow, and gradually they spawn faster and faster until the player dies. On the plus side, they complemented the micro-transaction menu and music of the game, both of these adding to the overall experience, though the cons definitely outweigh the pros. As earlier stated, the game needs a lot of work, but has the potential to be great.

Blog Update
I have worked on the character combat animation, weapon modeling, and texturing. Originally the character was going to use a sword but due to a conflict with the rig it had to be changed to a spear. The character's combat animations have been finished, and I am currently working on applying base textures to the mesh before modifying them to look realistic.
